Dawn Evans

After obtaining a degree in Engineering and Business Studies, Dawn qualified as a chartered accountant with Robson Rhodes. Following that she went into industry, where she has spent the last 20 years, before co-founding Clashstreetco LLP.

Her experience includes senior finance roles in the logistics, textiles, automotive components and printing industries. She has been successful in managing and driving through change in structure and culture. Dawn has handled a range of acquisitions and disposals and helped businesses adjust to new structures. Her experience has included review and strengthening of finance teams. She has implemented a variety of IT systems, from accounting packages to fully integrated operational systems.

She has a strong track record in viability assessments and turnarounds. As CFO, she was part of the board responsible for the turnaround of Jarvis Porter plc. Acting as the employer (in her industry roles), Dawn has managed employer pension negotiations, including changes to scheme terms and benefits, as well as scheme closures. She has also held the role of Scheme trustee.

In recent years, Dawn has been personally involved in over 150 covenant reviews of employers operating in a wide range of sectors, from leisure and hospitality to manufacturing and engineering.
